Murashige & Skoog Basal Medium with Vitamins Modification 9 (MSP09)

Application: MS Basal Medium is used to facilitate plant growth and/or shoot proliferation in two or more plant tissue cultures (both in monocyledons and dicotyledons).

Supreme Tissue Culture Grade Agar )(60 g)

Application: Agar is used as microbial solid culturing media. The substance is often used in doses ranging between 0.5 to 1.0% (w/v) to solidify plant tissue culture media. Agar is an essential ingredient used for in vitro root development.

PPM™ – Plant Preservative Mixture (30 mL)

PPM™ is a heat-stable preservative/biocide used to prevent microbial contamination in plant tissue culture. Effective at optimal doses, it does not interfere with in vitro seed germination, callus proliferation, or regeneration. PPM™ inhibits bacterial and fungal spores and can be autoclaved with media. Originally developed to control airborne, waterborne, and contact-based contamination, it also helps reduce endogenous contamination. PPM™ is a cost-effective alternative to antibiotics and is recommended as a standard media additive.

Plant Growth Regulators

6-BAP (30 mL) – A synthetic cytokinin that enhances cell division, shoot proliferation, and bud formation. 6-BAP is essential for shoot multiplication protocols and is frequently used to break apical dominance and induce multiple shoot formation.
IBA (30 mL) – A powerful auxin that promotes root initiation and development in plant tissue culture. IBA is especially effective in rooting microcuttings and is widely used during the acclimatization phase to improve survival rates.
NAA (30 mL) – A synthetic auxin commonly used to stimulate root formation and regulate callus development in tissue culture. NAA also aids in somatic embryogenesis and is often used in combination with cytokinins for optimal plant growth.
