Shipping policy

Availability

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. We reserve the right to decline shipment or cancel an order if a product cannot be legally or safely shipped to the destination.

Delivery Estimates

Delivery timeframes provided at checkout are carrier estimates only and are not guaranteed. Transit times are controlled by the carrier and may be impacted by weather, customs inspections, operational delays, or other events beyond our control. We do not assume liability for carrier delays.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Weights and Dimensional Pricing

Shipping costs are calculated using the carrier’s published weight and dimensional pricing standards, which may include actual weight, dimensional weight, or a combination of both. Any rounding or adjustments to the billable shipping weight are determined solely by the carrier in accordance with their policies. Plant Cell Technology does not alter, override, or control these calculations.

Orders placed by 12:00 PM EST are generally processed the same business day. Orders placed after this cutoff time will be processed the next business day. Processing time may vary based on product availability, order verification, or documentation requirements. 

We provide estimated processing timelines for when orders leave our facility. Delivery timing after dispatch is determined by the carrier.

Shelf-Life Policy

To ensure product integrity, we ship items with a minimum of 6 months remaining shelf life, unless otherwise disclosed and explicitly accepted by the customer (such as short-dated promotions or special arrangements).

Domestic Shipping

Once shipped, customers with receiving addresses within the continental United States can expect their product within 3-5 business days, depending on carrier service selection.

International shipping

International shipments are generally dispatched within 5-10 business days. Dispatch timing may vary based on product availability, documentation requirements, or regulatory processing. Once shipped the delivery timeline for international customers varies based on the carrier, purchase, and shipping destination.

For international shipments, clients are solely responsible for all customs and duties, VAT, import taxes, documentation requirements, and compliance with local regulations. Failure to clear customs does not qualify for reimbursement. It is the client’s responsibility to manage customs procedures, including but not limited to tracking the shipment through customs and payment of all tariffs and fees.

Plant Cell Technology is not liable for delays, holds, confiscation, or rejection by customs authorities. In the event of loss or damage, Plant Cell Technology will not provide reimbursement. Customers may pursue claims directly with the carrier where applicable.
